Good morning Neon City!
Today I am bringing you a small teaser - fully animated 2D pixel art character.
His name is -,.=REDACTED-..,- and he is ready to make himself famous on the streets of Neon City!
This character package includes all of the animations you might need in a standard platformer or beat-em-up game:
- 9 movement animations - 2 Idle animations, Walk and Run, Jump and Double jump, Ledge grab, climb and jump off
- 7 combat animations - Holding a gun with Idle, Walk and Run, Jump and Double jump animations as well as TWO distinctive Melee animations
- 4 fail state animations - 2 Hurt animations and 2 Death animations
The animations are neatly saved as PNG spritesheets, guided and unguided and I have also included the source Aseprite file!
You are free to use this asset in any project, commercial or non-commercial but direct reselling is absolutely PROHIBITED! Also don't forget to credit me in case you use this asset, it helps me to create more stuff!
About Neon City asset pack
Neon city asset pack aims to bring pixel art cyberpunk assets to developer's hands. This first package is just a teaser of what is to come.
I will be releasing more content as soon as it's ready. For now I plan to include a second (female) protagonist, multiple enemy types such as gangsters, corpos, mechs and more both melee and range oriented.
Other than characters that populated the world I am going to release a tileset as well as set of backgrounds to create the world.
If there is interest I might add UI elements and effects.
